Any organisation with a charity registration number from a UK regulator — the Charity Commission for England & Wales, OSCR in Scotland, or CCNI in Northern Ireland. If you have a number from one of those, you qualify.
Is it really free? Are there any hidden costs?
Genuinely free. No setup fee, no card required, and no monthly bill for the QuickStart plan. The only thing we ask is a link back to Webfort on your website. Domain registration is separate if you need one — but the hosting itself is on us.
Where do we put the link back?
Anywhere visible on your website works, but a footer link is perfect. We give you a ready-made snippet to paste, or you're welcome to write your own wording — as long as it links to webfort.co.uk.
Can we choose UK or US servers?
Yes. We host in London and Dallas, and you pick your region when your site goes live. Most UK charities choose London.
What if we outgrow the QuickStart plan?
QuickStart handles most charity websites comfortably. If you grow and need more resources, you can upgrade at any time — just get in touch and we'll sort out charity-friendly pricing.
Can you move our existing website over?
Absolutely. Once you're approved, our UK team will help migrate your current site across with no downtime. Just mention your current host in the form.
