    • Usage by domain
    • HTTP vs FTP vs Email traffic
  3. Select different time periods from dropdown

Bandwidth by Domain

If hosting multiple sites:

  1. View Bandwidth page
  2. Scroll down to see breakdown by domain
  3. Identify which site uses most bandwidth

Understanding Bandwidth Types

  • HTTP: Website traffic (most common)
  • FTP: File uploads/downloads
  • Email: Sending/receiving emails
  • POP3/IMAP: Email client connections

Reducing Bandwidth Usage

If approaching limits:

  • Optimize and compress images
  • Enable caching
  • Use a CDN for static files
  • Remove unused media files
  • Block hotlinking (others linking to your images)
  • Limit video/audio streaming
  • Upgrade to higher plan if needed

Bandwidth Overage

What happens if you exceed limits:

  • Some plans: Site temporarily suspended until next billing cycle
  • Some plans: Automatic overage charges
  • Some plans: Unlimited bandwidth (fair use policy applies)

Check your plan details or contact support for specifics.
