Creating Subdomains
Subdomains allow you to create separate sections of your website (e.g., blog.yourdomain.com, shop.yourdomain.com).
Quick Steps
- Log into cPanel
- Go to Domains > Subdomains
- Enter subdomain name (e.g., "blog" for blog.yourdomain.com)
- Select domain from dropdown (if you have multiple)
- Document root auto-fills (or customize)
- Click Create
Accessing Your Subdomain
Upload files to the subdomain folder in File Manager (usually /public_html/subdomain). The subdomain will be accessible immediately at subdomain.yourdomain.com.
Managing Subdomains
- Delete: Click the trash icon next to the subdomain
- Redirect: Use the Redirects tool in cPanel
- SSL: Subdomains automatically get SSL if you use AutoSSL
