Introduction
cPanel is a powerful web hosting control panel that allows you to manage all aspects of your hosting account. This guide will walk you through accessing cPanel and understanding its main features.
Accessing cPanel
There are several ways to access your cPanel account:
- Direct URL: Visit
https://yourdomain.com:2083(replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain) - Server URL: Visit
https://serverIP:2083(your server IP can be found in your welcome email) - Client Area: Log into our client area, navigate to Services > My Services, and click the "Login to cPanel" button
Logging In
Enter your cPanel username and password. These credentials were provided in your welcome email when your account was set up.
Navigating the cPanel Interface
Once logged in, you'll see the cPanel dashboard organized into several sections:
Main Sections
- Files: Manage your website files, upload content, create backups, and access File Manager
- Databases: Create and manage MySQL databases, phpMyAdmin access
- Email: Set up email accounts, forwarders, autoresponders, and spam filters
- Domains: Manage domains, subdomains, addon domains, and redirects
